Ewar winced in pain as one of the medics wrapped a band around two of his toes.
“They won’t leave me alone, not that I mind.” He joked as I noted his attitude; he had dropped the professional tone and was joking with me as if we had always been friends.
“We’re almost ready to land; you did well in the battle.” The medic commented.
“Better than that, he led us to victory.” I said, not wanting to see his achievements diminished.

My clothes were soaked, I was soaked.
The rain had severely affected the Eagles in this fight. Surprisingly, I learned it gave them an advantage, as it left the Dark World forces without reinforcements or Dragon support, giving the Eagles in advantage in both the air and ground.
“And we’re getting another one.” I muttered, watching as a pair of lights came on, cutting through the rain and dark.
“Um, Angel?” A vice behind me asked.
“Yes?” I asked, turning towards

Dark had fallen over Paradise by the time I made it to the western side, and that was perfect as my tentacles extinguished themselves and I took to the shadows. Darkfire still emitted light somehow, but that wasn’t a concern for me as I slipped through the darkened streets, evading Blood Creatures and Shadow Wolves, sometime by milliseconds of timing. The talkativeness that I had displayed earlier was gone entirely, every being in my body was focused on finding the leader, and only part of me seemed to know what we were looking for. T

An hour later, I was waiting behind a barricade with Ewar and a squad of Eagles, most had rifles, the rest carried axes. The only exception was Ewar, who was carrying a turret like a shoulder fired rifle. After a rough minute, Ewar strode over to me and handed me a glowing blue orb.
“What is this?” I asked, accepting it wearily.

The reaction was somewhere between disgust and shock, I didn’t blame them, I would have gawked too. After a minute of intense staring, Ewald spoke up.
“So you have, tell me, are you ready to participate in this war?” He asked, watching me carefully. While I remained frozen outside, inside, I thought it over before something overcame me.
“Yes, I am.” I said, my own voice sounding odd for a brief second.

It had been a good day when Savannah came to Chima.
Her twin sister had just gotten a boyfriend, judging by the image, a cute one, while Savannah herself had gotten herself a new backpack for her upcoming college classes, she had been so excited.
And then it happened.
She tripped while walking up stairs, possibly from an outside force, and fell through them in a blue flash. In roughly three seconds, she heard a statement in a melodic voice, saying:
"This is your time Wanderer, you are chosen."
Then Savannah was on her back, the sun shining through the

“What?”
It was a combined reaction, Lani, Levi, and I said it at the same time, while Osmond remained silent.
“It’s a full-on war, come on; we need to take the Interceptors back to the spire. Ewald will explain more when we get there.” Ewar said, turning as a crash to our right sounded.
“Excuse me one moment.” He said, bowing again and stepping behind a corner of a building.
“No! It goes over here, like this! It’s not like they’re going to come out of the ground!” He yelled

Then it was over, I landed on my talons and instantly sank two feet into mud, looking up and around as Lani, Osmond, and Levi landed around me.
